A busy 7 weeks:
In the last seven weeks I've devised a better method of holding the schedules in my spreadsheet. Now my "scheduler" knows the start date of the tour and automatically uses the appropriate timetables - Mon-Fri/Sat/Sun. It also highlights where data (e.g. arrival time, platform, refreshments etc. there are 21 items) is missing. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- That was July 2021, now were into May 2022, I've completed the NSEW Tour in three separate trips starting with Lowestoft and the new summer timetables have been published. This blog - UK Rail Tour - was originally started in 2020 and grew to over 30 entries before the NSEW Tour was undertaken. It mostly concerned my constant planning and re-planning of the two tours so I've now deleted most of it and condensed the rest into the two entries dated before this one. From here on, this blog will concentrate on the Circular Tour of the UK. Continue
